I recently met Ashley and Matthew on Tybee Island for a sunset shoot. The wind was a bit crazy, but we just kept shooting and as is usually the case with wind, it ended up working to our benefit much of the time with Ashley’s hair. Ashley told me this was actually the spot of their first kiss — it always adds an extra element of excitement to photograph in a place infused with memories and meaning. Thanks Ashley and Matthew for such a fun shoot!

I have been experimenting some with color in my photographs lately — I think the soft color with the antique tone fits the mood of these photos perfectly and serves to highlight Angel and Brodie’s expressions and interactions here.

I had the privilege of photographing Angel and Brodie the last weekend in February. We had tons of fun just walking around Factor’s Walk in Savannah. Angel grew up dancing and Brodie’s background and current work in gymnastics meant they were both great movers. That combined with the sweet way they interacted with one another made for an amazing session. Thank you Angel and Brodie for letting me be a part of capturing these last expectant moments!
