Here are the girls from a whole year ago! I love the expressions on their faces as they look on their new baby sister. This is a great example of why getting your kids photographed every year is a great idea — how time flies!

Perserverance — though this idea of putting the girls on the branch started out with fear and tears — their daddy was able to calm everyone down as they trusted him to keep them safe and I love the way they turned out.

It is so great to be a part of photographing children while they grow — the last time I photographed them Eloise was a newborn and now she is walking around with so much personality while Madeline and Noel as big as ever. Thanks for braving the weather on this especially cold Saturday and for being so cute!

For Seaborn’s newborn session Dorsey and Sam were kind enough to open their home to me and we just set up a backdrop right by a window and turned their home into a mini studio. Its nice to be able to do these sessions at home as you never know what might happen when the diaper comes off! I love the classic black and white for capturing these sweet moments of first time parents with their brand new baby. Congratulations Dorsey and Sam and welcome to the world Seaborn!

You might remember Annabelle’s mom, Angie, from our marsh maternity shoot. I was able to meet and photograph Annabelle at her home when she was only nine days old! She wasn’t quite sure about the shoot at first but after a lot of feedings in a warm room with some soothing music on she drifted into a deeper sleep and we were able to capture these peaceful moments. Congratulations Angie and Wayne on your beautiful baby girl – she makes a great model!
